One of the greatest advantages to using a wiki in a classroom setting, in my opinion at least, is the fact that as soon-to-be teachers, we will have these resources a click of the mouse away, potentially forever. There is something reassuring to the idea that my friends and colleagues deemed these resources good enough for their own use. So, if I am at a loss, I can zip to this wiki and gather some great ideas.

I believe that there are a number of advantages that relate to using Wikis in the classroom. First and foremost, Wikis allow the mass-editing of text that is available to people at their convenience. For example, each person in our class is on this page at the moment, currently typing something. This could really come in handy in the classroom specifically if you wanted students to respond to a specific text or piece of information. This way, instead of grading a number of different submissions that have been submitted via hard-copy, the teacher can log into a Wiki and view all of the submissions. --Corey Brinton
